YOUTH MINISTRY
The youth ministry at East Ridge exists in order to:
Pull together and Prepare to Praise God as we Proclaim His Truth and Provide His Love!
This purpose statement was developed by the teens as they sifted through the pages of the Bible and located the purposes that Christ set forth for His followers. We realize that unity and preparation for service will lead to a ministry full of praise and good works.
Age Groups
The youth ministry at East Ridge consists of the Teen Group (7th-12th graders), the JR Group (3rd-6th graders), and the Young Kids Group (2nd graders and below). Youth activities typically are designated for one of these three age groups. However, Bible classes are divided differently with the High School Group (9th-12th graders) meeting in the Teen Room and the Junior High Group (6th-8th graders) meeting in Room 2. Younger children (5th graders and below) go to their normal classes as designated by grade.
